The Arizona Cardinals announced on Saturday morning they have elevated quarterback Drew Anderson to the active roster from the practice squad.

The move follows the uncertainty around the status of quarterback Kyler Murray (hamstring) for Sunday’s season finale against the Los Angeles Rams.

Meanwhile, tight end Darrell Daniels has been placed on injured reserve with a biceps injury.

Anderson signed with the Cardinals in May as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Murray State and played in three preseason games with the club, completing 18 of 32 passes for 206 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.

After being released at the conclusion of the preseason, Anderson rejoined the Cardinals on the practice squad on Dec. 4.

Daniels jumped back and forth from the practice squad to the active roster in 2019, playing in eight games for the Cardinals.

He saw a season-high 23 snaps in the win against Seattle on Sunday.

Daniels ends the season with one reception for four yards on three targets.
