The XFL is capturing attention from one Arizona Cardinals player.
During Sunday’s Dallas Renegades and Houston Roughnecks game, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was spotted on the sidelines.
It’s not the first game of the season that the 2019 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year has stopped in at.
The Oklahoma product was also seen at Dallas’ first game of the season against the St. Louis Battlehawks.
Dallas head coach Bob Stoops previously coached at Oklahoma until 2017. Stoops came out of retirement to coach the Roughnecks.
The Dallas roster has other ties to Oklahoma as well. Quarterback Landry Jones, wide receiver Jeff Badet and defensive end Frank Alexander previously played for the Sooners.
Football fans on Twitter took notice of Murray’s appearance at the game and were excited for the support that the new league was getting.
