Arizona Wildcats senior linebacker Colin Schooler announced Wednesday that he is entering the transfer portal.
Schooler cited looking for a program that is playing this fall, as the Pac-12 has postponed all fall sports, including football.
Schooler has been an honorable mention for All Pac-12 three straight years and was a Freshman All-American in 2017.
He has started in the last 33 games he has played in as a Wildcat, including all 12 in each of the last two seasons. Schooler has 312 career tackles, tied for 15th all-time in program history.
Schooler’s brother Brenden, a graduate transfer at wide receiver, is also transferring.
The Wildcats have now lost a few significant pieces of the defense this offseason, with senior linebacker Tony Fields II transferring in mid-July and starting safety Scottie Young Jr. also transferring to West Virginia in mid-June.
