Purists of the National Football League may bellyache that the game is all about passing these days.

They’re not wrong.

Yet, with all the talented quarterbacks, exotic offenses and explosive receivers around the league, there has still been only 24 times in the league’s history that a quarterback has thrown for 500 yards or more in a game.

You see where we’re going with this, right?

Today’s Trivia Tuesday challenge is just that — identify the quarterbacks who have eclipsed the 500-yard mark in a single NFL game. We’ve given you each passer’s team, the number of yards and the season in which he accomplished the feat. All you have to do is name the quarterback.

In case you were wondering, throwing for 500+ isn’t necessarily a good thing. These QBs went a combined 13-11 in such games.

You’ve got eight minutes on the clock … good luck!
