DeAndre Hopkins’ flair on the field is rivaled only by his style off it. The Arizona Cardinals wide receiver was named Sports Illustrated’s Best Dressed Athlete of the Year last week, coming out ahead of other finalists Odell Beckham Jr., Russell Westbrook and Skylar Diggins-Smith.
Sports Illustrated wrote that Hopkins shops at Paris boutiques and finds fashion inspiration from Pharrell.
But that doesn’t mean Hopkins only looks at upscale shopping districts.
On Instagram, he joked that he still shops every day at a store that you probably frequent often as well: Target.

Hopkins has earned recognition for his look in the past. In 2019, GQ profiled him and his wardrobe, and the receiver told the magazine that he hopes to start his own brand.
During the awards show, Hopkins was interviewed by Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, a former NFL wide receiver who also has unique fashion sense.
“There’s hundreds of us in the NFL, so I’m trying to pick that one item that no NFL player has,” Hopkins said. “I try to be unique with it.”
