If the Hail Murray feels too long ago, then Arizona Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins offered a reminder of his elite tracking skills Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Early in the second quarter with his team leading 16-7, quarterback Kyler Murray took a deep shot with Hopkins hustling downfield.

Hopkins high-pointed the ball over defensive backs Kevon Seymour and Michael Jacquet, bringing it into his body as he was thrown to the ground.

It was a big response after the Eagles showed some life in a first half of the eventual 33-26 win for Arizona.

The reception gave Arizona 45 yards of a 53-yard drive that stalled out. Kicker Mike Nugent wrapped the possession with a 40-yard field goal to put the Cardinals ahead 19-7 with 11:41 to play in the first half.

It was also a nice recovery after Hopkins fumbled on the game-opening drive deep in Eagles territory.

Arizona opened up a 16-0 lead by the end of the first quarter by pressuring rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts and getting a quick touchdown off a blocked punt.

Hurts eventually settled in, but Arizona would wrap the second quarter with another strong drive.

They went 75 yards in 4:07 and finished a drive with a contested 15-yard touchdown catch by Larry Fitzgerald in the back of the end zone with three minutes remaining before halftime.

In the battle of Oklahoma Sooner quarterback products, Hurts went 24-of-44 for 338 yards and three touchdowns in the first half, plus a rushing score in the second.

Murray went 27-of-36 for 406 yards and four total touchdowns, plus a pick and a lost fumble.
