Chase Edmonds out for rest of Cardinals’ game vs. 49ers

Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers due to a hip injury.
It was not clear when Edmonds got injured. He was ruled as questionable to return near the end of the first half before being downgraded in the third quarter. Edmonds had two receptions for eight yards in the game.
The third-year running back was listed as questionable coming into the game because of ankle and knee issues. He did not practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday.
Edmonds entered the game with 94 carries for 451 yards and one touchdown. He’s got an additional 49 catches and 366 yards with four touchdowns in the passing game. Edmonds is second on the team in receptions.
Through the first 15 weeks of the season, Arizona ranked fourth in the NFL in rushing yards per game with 147.8.
