A Fitzgerald-Murray combo is coming to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am for a good cause.

And no, we’re not talking about Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray.

Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is teeing it up with comedic actor Bill Murray on Wednesday for the AT&T Every Shot Counts Charity Challenge.

The $1.6 million fundraising event for Monterey Peninsula Foundation charities will feature three celebrity pairings that will duke it out in a five-hole tournament.

Proceeds from the charity event will target basic necessities in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The team of Fitzgerald and Murray is playing in support of educational equity. The two will square off against the duo of Kira Dixon and Kathryn Newton, and the Macklemore and Alfonso Ribeiro pairing. Team Dixon-Newton are playing in support of health equity, while Team Macklemore-Ribeiro are golfing in support of food security.

The pairings will play in a scramble format on Nos. 1, 2, 3, 17 and 18. The first and second holes are worth $100,000, while Nos. 3 and 17 are worth $150,000. The 18th is worth $500,000. Teams will split the pot if any ties arise.

A long-drive contest on No. 2 and two closest-to-the-pin contests on Nos. 3 and 17 are also in play, each being worth $200,000.

Joining the groups on the course will be Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young as official scorekeeper and sportscaster Jim Nantz as the event host.

Spectators are not allowed to attend the charity event or the Pro-Am, which tees off Thursday.
