Report: CB Quinton Dunbar set to visit Cardinals next week

The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly hosting former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar next week.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Dunbar is set to visit both the Cardinals and Detroit Lions.

Dunbar played just one season with NFC West rival Seattle, recording an interception, five passes defensed and 30 tackles, two of which were for losses, in six starts.

The cornerback posted a Pro Football Focus grade of 44.7 in 2020. He had a 65.7 run defense grade and a 44.4 coverage grade.

He was traded to the Seahawks last March after playing the previous five seasons in Washington. Dunbar, 28, recorded nine picks and 35 pass deflections during his time in Washington.

The news of Dunbar’s visit comes after the Cardinals added former Tennessee Titans CB Malcolm Butler to the fold last Thursday.

Butler joins Byron Murphy, Robert Alford, Jace Whittaker and Picasso Nelson in the cornerback room.

Arizona also agreed on a one-year deal with former Cincinnati Bengals safety Shawn Williams on Monday. Additionally, the team announced the re-signing of safety Chris Banjo.

According to OverTheCap.com, the Cardinals have $4.56 million in cap space remaining.
