A baseball uniform can’t be complete without one of its most iconic pieces — a hat.

From the collectable to the just-plain-cool, through uniform changes and color re-designs, the Arizona Diamondbacks have introduced many hats to their fans over the past couple decades.

The D-backs commemorated the September 11th attacks by wearing a special hat featuring an American flag for their Sept. 11, 2015 contest vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers. They were brought back for the September 11th weekend, with some teams wearing them only on the 11th, others wearing them for multiple games. Huh) The league-wide template was changed in 2007, coinciding with the Diamondbacks' new colors. The material and shape of the cap stayed the same, with the only change being the colored patches on the sides. This lasted until 2009. (AP Photo/Ross D.
