Arizona State senior guard Remy Martin has committed to playing for Kansas if he returns to college basketball, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

Martin entered the transfer portal after also declaring for the NBA Draft. Rothstein reported Martin will test those waters again before ultimately deciding if he will go pro or become a Jayhawk for one season.

The senior, of course, had the breakout moment of his career against Kansas in his freshman season. Martin scored a then-career-high 21 points in the Sun Devils’ upset at Allen Fieldhouse back in December of 2017. He was Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year that season.

Martin went on to be named to First Team All-Pac-12 back-to-back seasons the last two years.

The guard joins a long list of Sun Devils that have left the program. Holland Woods, Jaelen House, Chris Osten and Taeshon Cherry have all transferred while Marcus Bagley and Josh Christopher are exploring professional opportunities.
