Since the Arizona Cardinals selected wide receiver Rondale Moore in the 2021 NFL Draft, the second-rounder has been impressive on and off the field.

Known for being humble, Moore proved that yet again after he revealed a surprise for his mother on Saturday that has been over a month in the making.

“She does not know yet,” the rookie said back on Aug. 4. “Probably not [a good idea to say it during a press conference], I mean we’re really close. Just got the keys like two days ago, so it will be fun.”

Moore was able to keep the surprise quiet after nearly spoiling it in his press conference back in August. Nonetheless by doing this, he’s accomplishing a goal that’s been set since he started playing football.

“Just got to figure out a way to make it special for her and just a great moment,” he said back on Aug. 4. “Crazy enough that was probably the top of my list was to go take care of my mother and get her situated and in the right place.

Moore will make his NFL debut next Sunday as the Cardinals travel to the Tennessee Titans to kick off the regular season at 10 a.m. MST.
