The Arizona Wildcats will don “Dress White” alternates against the Utah Utes for the school’s Military Appreciation Game on Saturday.
The white jerseys honor Davis-Monthan Air Force base — the Air Force had formal white dress options years ago but not longer does — and features a patch on the right shoulder that reads “Rescue Attack 355th Wing.”
The patch also features three aircraft, including the A-10 that has a prominent history at the southern Arizona Air Force base.
The Wildcats’ helmets this Saturday will include a Davis-Monthan decal as well.

The white jerseys have blue sleeves with digital camouflage, while the digital camo also appears on the red numbering.
Arizona will wear white pants with the red, white and blue striping — and matching helmets.
