The Arizona Cardinals signed long snapper Beau Brinkley and running back Tavien Feaster to the active roster, among a handful of other moves ahead of Sunday’s game in Chicago against the Bears.
Brinkley has been active and seen playing time in each of the Cardinals last two games. He played nine seasons with the Tennessee Titans before joining the Cardinals this season and brings 135 games of experience to Arizona’s special teams unit.
Feaster has also seen action in the Cardinals last two games. The Cardinals are his fourth NFL team since joining the league in 2020 as an undrafted rookie out of South Carolina.
Safety James Wiggins was also placed on injured reserve, while linebacker Joe Walker and cornerback Jace Whittaker were elevated to the active roster from the practice squad.
The Cardinals also elevated linebacker Tahir Whitehead to the active roster as a COVID-19 replacement.
Arizona placed running back Jonathan Ward on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday.
The Cardinals put its NFL-best 9-2 record on the line against the 4-7 Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Kickoff is slated for 11:00 p.m. and can be heard on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
