The Arizona Cardinals re-signed defensive lineman Zach Kerr on Wednesday, the team announced.
Additionally, the team made the release of defensive lineman Matt Dickerson official.
Dickerson has now had two separate stints on the Cardinals’ practice squad this season, one in early November and another these past two weeks.
The lineman originally got his start with the Tennessee Titans in 2018 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of UCLA.
In three seasons (18 games) with the Titans, Dickerson recorded 15 tackles, one of which was for a loss.
The Cardinals also released linebacker Tahir Whitehead from the practice squad on Tuesday, per the league’s transaction wire.
Whitehead, 31, has appeared in three games for the Cardinals and picked up an assisted tackle in the regular season finale on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. He has played 40 special teams snaps this season.
Whitehead has spent time with the Detroit Lions (2012-17), Las Vegas Raiders (2018-19) and Carolina Panthers (2020) over his nine-year career. In 14 games (10 starts) with Carolina last season, Whitehead had 51 tackles, an interception, one fumble recovery and one QB hit.
