No. 2 Arizona guard Kerr Kriisa became the first Wildcat to record a triple-double since 2004 in Thursday night’s 97-77 win over the Utah Utes in Salt Lake City.
Andre Iguodala was the last Wildcat to accomplish the feat, which he did three times (twice in 2003).
Kriisa finished with 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting (63.6%), including his remarkable 70% clip from three (7-for-10).
The sophomore scored 21 points in the first half en route to a 53-33 halftime lead for Arizona.
Kriisa shot 7-for-9 from the field (78%), with all of his makes coming from beyond the arc in the first 20 minutes of the contest.
Lucky No. 7 came on this buzzer-beater from half court:

The seven three-pointers was a career high for Kriisa and his 21 points also tied a career best as well.
Kriisa’s seven threes made in the first half alone ties a school record for the most all-time with Jemarl Baker Jr., who did it against Stanford back on Dec. 19, 2020.
The win is also Arizona’s first in Utah since January 2018 when current Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton was still on the team.
