We may not know the exact dates of the Arizona Cardinals’ 2022 slate just yet, but we do know the opponents the team will face this season.

Simply put, it’s going to be a tough road no matter how the schedule shakes out.

Arizona sits second in the NFL in terms of strength of schedule with a 2021 opponent winning percentage of 54.3% (157-132).

The Los Angeles Rams are first in that category with an opposing win percentage of 56.7% (164-125). All four of the NFC West teams sit among the top 15.

The Cardinals have quite the gauntlet to get through, highlighted by a revamped AFC West division that consists of the Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos.

They’ll also face off against the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the rest of the NFC South, while taking on the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFC East.

Additionally, the Cardinals will battle one NFC North team in the Minnesota Vikings and the New England Patriots from the AFC East.

And let’s not forget the opponents in their own division, with the Rams and San Francisco 49ers presenting two tough outs for Arizona. The Seattle Seahawks may be in a rebuild, but are not to be overlooked.

The 2022 NFL schedule is set to be released at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
