Slot machines and Las Vegas go hand in hand.
They are in every casino and littered throughout the airport.
You can also find one on the sidelines of Allegiant Stadium.
Early on in Saturday’s matchup against Idaho State, UNLV Rebels linebacker Austin Ajiake broke out a turnover celebration with an interception and a pull of the lever.

You’ve heard of a turnover chain, but what about a turnover slot machine?
The defensive effort by Ajiake only added to UNLV’s early momentum in what has been a one-sided afternoon in Sin City.
After scoring 10 points in the first quarter, the Rebels opened up the flood gates in the second quarter behind 35 points. On the other side, the Bengals have mustered 14 points.
This isn’t “The Rebel Roller’s” first appearance on the UNLV sidelines, either.
The Rebels first debuted the $60,000 slot machine last year in a loss to Utah State.
The chance at a jackpot isn’t just for defensive players, with the offense also getting involved. Running back Charles Williams was the first Rebel to get a crack at spinning the slot.

There might not be a more fitting touchdown or turnover tradition in all of college sports.
Now, we wait for the next creative celebration.
