Sun Devils to rock icy white drip vs. Cougars in frigid Pullman

The Arizona State Sun Devils football team is headed up to a cold Pullman, Wash., to take on the Washington State Cougars on Saturday afternoon.
The forecast is currently calling for a high of 37 degrees with sunny skies and winds of up to 6 mph.
And despite no snow being expected for the frigid matchup in the Pacific Northwest, that’s not stopping ASU from taking the field in a whiteout.

Modeled by redshirt sophomore tight end Jalin Conyers and graduate student safety Khoury Bethley, the Sun Devils will be rocking an icy maroon-white-white look against the Cougars.
The iridescent maroon helmet, which Arizona State wore against Eastern Michigan and Colorado, shines with a gold tint when hit by light.
However, this week’s helmet will feature a white facemask in addition to a white outline of the pitchfork on the side.
A white jersey and white pants with “Sun Devils” written vertically on the left side and a gold pitchfork on the right hip will accompany the hat.
Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. on Arizona Sports 98.7, the Arizona Sports app and ArizonaSports.com.
