Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is officially active for the team’s Monday Night Football matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico City.
Hopkins was a surprise addition to the Cardinals’ injury report this week with a hamstring injury and was listed as questionable. He did not practice Thursday before working in a limited fashion the final two days of preparation.
This season, Hopkins has recorded 36 catches for 396 yards and two touchdowns over four games played.
With Hollywood Brown still not activated off the injured reserve/designated to return list, Hopkins should once again see his fair share of targets.
Unfortunately, starting quarterback Kyler Murray will not play in Week 11.
Murray entered the matchup as questionable with a hamstring injury that sidelined him against the Los Angeles Rams last week.
In his place is backup Colt McCoy, who completed 26 of his 37 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown.
Cornerback Byron Murphy, linebackers Jesse Luketa and Victor Dimukeje, offensive linemen D.J. Humphries and Max Garcia and tight end Zach Ertz are also out for Monday.
With Humphries sidelined, Josh Jones slides back into a starting role at left tackle. Also look for rookie Trey McBride and Maxx Williams to see more playing time in place of Ertz, who will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
As for the 49ers, defensive linemen Arik Armstead, Kemoko Turay and Samson Ebukam, running back Tyrion Davis-Price and offensive lineman Nick Zakelj are inactive for the contest.
