Newly-signed running back Chris Johnson did not make his Arizona Cardinals debut Saturday night against the San Diego Chargers
A pulled hamstring he suffered late in practice on Thursday will put the veteran on the table for a week or two, head coach Bruce Arians told the media after the game. The severity of the injury is not known, the coach said.
Bruce Arians says Chris Johnson pulled his hamstring, could be out one to two weeks.

Johnson left the team’s last practice — Arizona was off Friday — with a wrap around the upper portion of his left leg, according to Arizona Sports’ Adam Green, but the seriousness of the injury was unknown.
Before the injury, Arians said that he expected Johnson to receive a handful of carries against San Diego.
Johnson had not practiced with an NFL team until the last several days. He signed with Arizona after recovering from being shot in the shoulder this March.
The Cardinals again started running back Andre Ellington with the first-team group. Ellington rushed twice for 12 yards.
Rookie back David Johnson stole the show afterward, rushing 13 times for 66 yards while catching two passes for 15 yards.
