Odds are good that if you have not already had your fantasy football draft(s), you will shortly.

The goal, as always, is to put together the best team possible, but these days it’s difficult to gain much of an edge over your competitors.

One of the people whose job it is to help is ESPN’s Matthew Berry. And in his piece presenting bold predictions for 2015 fantasy football, he said Arizona Cardinals receiver John Brown could be in store for a monster season.

Arizona Cardinals: I say John Brown, currently being drafted as WR39 (11th round) finishes with more than 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns. My thinking: The speedy breakout star of training camp in 2014, Brown somehow managed almost 700 yards with people like Ryan Lindley throwing to him last season. A full season with Carson Palmer and a Bruce Arians offense that throws deep more than any team in the NFL? Sign me up.

Last season, the third-round pick from Pittsburg State burst onto the scene with 48 catches, 696 yards and five touchdowns. By all accounts, the 25-year-old has looked fantastic this training camp and preseason, appearing to be unguardable much of the time. While Arians’ offense is not one to necessarily feature a specific receiver, it would not be a surprise to see the 5-foot-11 Brown become a bit of a focal point.

So, in a way, Berry’s prediction doesn’t even seem to be all that bold.
