Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta left Thursday night’s game against the Colorado Rockies after injuring his right wrist when trying to make a diving catch in the third inning.

Peralta jammed his right hand when trying to catch a ball that was hit off the bat of Rockies third baseman Rafael Ynoa. His hand bent backwards at an awkward angle, but he remained in the game for the rest of that inning.

Socrates Brito batted for Peralta in the bottom half of the inning, and the D-backs outfielder will be day-t0-day.

With only three games left in the regular season, it will be seen if Peralta plays again this season.

If Peralta is done for the year, he finishes with a .312 batting average, with 17 home runs, 78 RBI, 26 doubles and 10 triples.
