The Arizona Cardinals’ 27-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers brought an end to a confusing, frustrating and ultimately disappointing 2012 season.

The Cardinals started 4-0 for the first time since 1974 and then promptly dropped 11 of their last 12 contests to finish 5-11 for the second time in the last three seasons.
