LISTEN: Doug and Wolf NFL Power Poll heading into Week 14

Every Wednesday, Doug and Wolf roll out their top five teams in the NFL on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.

Once again, both hosts have the same top five teams in their lists. But once again, they’re in different order.

As you can see, both have the Arizona Cardinals at number two on their respective lists following their convincing 27-3 win over the St. Louis Rams last Sunday.

“Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals. The weapons they have on offense, the weapons they have defensively. They’ve done enough, but the only the thing they haven’t done is go undefeated — that’s the only separation,” Franz said, explaining why he’s still got the Cards behind the Carolina Panthers.

Both hosts still have Cam Newton and the Panthers in the top spot. Carolina survived a scare in New Orleans last Sunday, but managed to pull out a 41-38 victory.

“Carolina has only one thing to stop them from going 16-0, and that’s Carolina. The schedule won’t do it,” Franz said. “But I still say it’s too tough and they won’t do it either.”

Wolf added, “Carolina is not a dominant team and their schedule is certainly not dominant. But when you watch this team play right now, 12-0 has got to mean something in the NFL, and it does. Panthers are number-one.”

Doug and Wolf unveil their NFL top five every Wednesday morning at around 7:30 a.m.
