Leaping deal for Diamondbacks Opening Day tickets

Feb 28, 2016, 7:44 PM | Updated: 7:46 pm

The Arizona Diamondbacks are getting into the spirit of Monday’s Leap Day with a special deal for fans to take advantage of for Opening Day.

Fans can use the offer code LEAPDAY to get two tickets for $29 with a limit of eight per person when they purchase online.

The D-backs will open the 2016 season on April 4 when they host the Colorado Rockies at 6:40 p.m.

Expectations are running high for the Diamondbacks especially after an offseason in which they signed free agent starting pitcher Zack Greinke and reliever Tyler Clippard, while picking up starting pitcher Shelby Miller in a trade.

Many baseball pundits expect the Diamondbacks to contend for the National League West Division title this year while they search for their first playoff appearance since 2011.
