Becoming bowl eligible would’ve been celebrated by ASU
last season and even the season before. But not this
year. Not with a season where the expectations are much
higher than just reaching the post-season and any one of
the 35 different bowl games.

“Obviously that’s a first goal of many we’re trying to
achieve this year,” explained head coach Dennis Erickson,
whose Sun Devil team achieved bowl eligibility for the
first times since 2007 with its sixth win of the year
Saturday night against Colorado.
