Arizona State Football Coach Todd Graham added former
University of Illinois tight ends and fullbacks coach Chip
Long to his staff on Friday, according to a press release
by the university.

Prior to the years at Illinois, Long had a two-year stint at
the University of Arkansas as a graduate assistant, also
working with tight ends.

Long spent two seasons at the University of
Louisville with the wide receivers and quarterbacks before
moving to Arkansas.

He was a receiver and tight end for North Alabama
and earned All-American, first-team All-Gulf South
Conference and first-team All-South Region honors in 2005.
The Lions went to the national NCAA Division II semifinals
in 2003 and 2005 with help from Long.
