Arizona State University is looking to add an extra year to head football coach Todd Graham’s contract, keeping the coach signed through 2019.
Along with the extension, ASU is seeking to increase Graham’s salary another $300,000, putting it at $2.7 million. As part of his contract, Graham’s salary will increase by $100,000 annually on Jan. 1, 2015 and on Jan. 1, 2016. Every Jan. 1 after that will see an increase of $50,000.
In two seasons with the school, Graham has led the Sun Devils to a 18-9 record, including appearances in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl and National University Holiday Bowl. In 2013, ASU won 10 games and the Pac-12 South, which led to them hosting the Pac-12 title game at Sun Devil Stadium.
