Arizona State Sun Devils enter Sun Bowl wearing Nike for the final time

All good things must come to an end.
Saturday’s Sun Bowl marks the end of a season and the end of an era.
The Arizona State Sun Devils take on the Duke Blue Devils in El Paso, Texas, seeking a 10th win in back-to-back seasons for the first time in more than 40 years. They’ll enter the fray wearing Nike uniforms for the last time in the foreseeable future.
The Sun Devils will don their white helmets, white jerseys and maroon pants into battle, with the Nike swoosh on their cleats and over their left collarbones.
ASU signed an eight-year deal with adidas on Dec. 16 to outfit its footwear, apparel and accessories starting in July.
