Finding David Johnson a nickname goes poorly for ESPN

ESPN’s NFL Twitter account attempted something that Arizona Cardinals fans in the Valley might have already tried, and likely failed, to do.

What nickname could stick with Cardinals running back David Johnson?

It’s a challenge as easy to tackle as the subject himself. That’s not more apparent when reading over the submissions given to ESPN’s Twitter query.

We need a nickname for @dajohnson7. Submit them below. We look forward to reading them.

The results were poor. Some were funny in a cringe-worthy way, while some were flat-out bad.

Others just might stick if Johnson accepts and embraces his humble personality and Midwest roots.
