You can cross Lee Evans off the Arizona Cardinals’ list
Well, Cardinals fans will have to find a new receiver to obsess about. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Buffalo wide out Lee Evans is on the move but he won’t be relocating to the desert.
Bills wound up getting back a fourth-round pick from Baltimore for WR Lee Evans. Big move for the Ravens.
So you can cross Steve Breaston, Braylon Edwards, Malcom Floyd, Jerricho Cotchery and now Lee Evans off the potential No. 2 receiver list. The question is, who’s left?
At this point, unless teams cut some quality players before the end of the preseason, it’s beginning to look like Andre Roberts, Early Doucet and Chansi Stuckey will be the only names on the Cardinals’ list.
While that may scare some fans, the group of young receivers has a lot of potential and has shown flashes of brilliance at times over the last few seasons. With Larry Fitzgerald drawing most of the defense’s attention and Kevin Kolb throwing the ball, one of them should be able to go from a guy with a lot of potential to legitimate No. 2 receiver at some point this season.
