Snapshot: Wildcats continue to lose

Arizona wide out David Douglas was huge for the Wildcats on Saturday. They may have lost, but his 10 receptions for 155 yards and two touchdowns made up a significant part of Arizona's offense. Utah quarterback John Hayes wasn't given many opportunities to develop the passing attack on Saturday. He only connected on 12 passes, less than half that of Foles, but still posted two touchdowns. However Hayes, unlike Foles, did not throw an interception. Sometimes you have to feel bad for Arizona quarterback Nick Foles. He consistently throws for significant yards, yet he can't seem to get a win out of his team. Foles hit 25 of his 43 attempts on Saturday for 324 yards, including two touchdowns and two interceptions. Utah running back John White wore down the Wildcats defense. He posted 112 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries and was a key portion of Utah's win by a final score of 34-21. Seeing a coach attempt to cheer his players up is not a rare sight in college football, but seeing one do so in the first half is not a good sign. Arizona interim head football coach Tim Kish was forced to do so after his team went into halftime trailing 20-7. The Wildcats never had a lead.
