Arizona Wildcats’ Scooby Wright earns third Pac-12 Defensive Player of Week award

Arizona Wildcats linebacker Scooby Wright was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in UA’s 42-35 win over ASU on Friday.
The sophomore tallied 13 tackles, five tackles for a loss, two sacks and a forced fumble that led to a touchdown in the Wildcats’ victory.
Wright is the first UA player to receive Pac-10/12 Player of the Week honors three times in a season. He won the award in back-to-back weeks for his play in a win at Washington State on Oct. 25 and a loss at UCLA on Nov. 1.
