Arizona’s Lauri Markkanen is apparently a trick shot master

Lauri Markkanen’s success so far his freshman season has a bit to do with his efficiency.
The freshman out of Finland is shooting 49 percent, 44 percent from three-point range and 84 percent at the foul stripe while averaging 15.8 points per game. In his last outing, he took and made just four shots — three of them threes — and hit all four of his free throws to finish with 15 points.
Because he doesn’t take risky shots does not mean he isn’t capable.
