The Arizona Wildcats’ loss to Arizona State Saturday may have done serious damage to their hopes of earning a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament as well as of winning the Pac-12 title, but it did little to hurt their ranking in the polls.

In both the Associated Press and USA Today polls, Arizona dropped one spot, to seventh, following the 81-78 defeat to the Sun Devils in Tempe. It is the 34th consecutive week the ‘Cats are in the AP Top 10, the longest such streak in the nation.

Arizona (20-3, 8-2 in Pac-12) will hit the road this week to take on the Washington Huskies (14-9, 3-8) Friday and Washington State Cougars (10-13, 4-7).
