Report: Stanley Johnson ‘torn’ on whether or not to go pro or return to Arizona Wildcats

All throughout the 2014-15 season it was assumed that Arizona freshman Stanley Johnson was a “one-and-done” player.
After all, he was projected to be a top-10 pick in the NBA Draft the moment he was eligible, and after a season in which he averaged 13.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.7 rebounds per game for a team that went 34-4 and reached the Elite 8, few thought he would return to school.
But according to CBS Sports.com’s Jon Rothstein, Johnson may yet return for his sophomore season, saying he is “torn” over whether or not to declare for the 2015 NBA Draft.
“He’s really torn,” one source said. “He doesn’t want to go out like he did against Wisconsin. For five years in basketball, Stanley has always won his final game. He’s used to winning.”
Arizona was bounced in the Elite 8 for the second consecutive season. Johnson, who led Arizona in scoring during the year, scored just six points and grabbed two rebounds before fouling out after just 25 minutes.
