Former Gonzaga standout Adam Morrison’s NBA career was a spectacular fail, but the former first-rounder showed his face in Houston to watch an Elite 8 matchup Sunday.
Morrison was spotted with a different hairdo than his NBA playing days as he watched his former school take on Duke, and it didn’t take long for Twitter users to have some laughs at the 30-year-old’s expense.

Unfortunately for Morrison, the 6-foot-8 forward’s NBA career wasn’t as slick as the man bun he showed off at NRG Stadium.
Despite winning the Naismith and Wooden awards in 2005-06 and going to the Charlotte Hornets (fka Bobcats) with the third overall pick that summer, Morrison only lasted four seasons in the NBA — counting a year he missed entirely with a knee injury — between Charlotte and Los Angeles. Other than a decent rookie season, his scoring average hovered around three points per game, and his career shooting percentage was 37.3.
Maybe Morrison got the last word, though:
As Zags walk off, Duke fan yells to Adam Morrison, “JJ’s still better than you.” Morrison points & says, “I shoot better than you, though.”
