...

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced Wednesday their decision to trade outfielder Mark Trumbo to the Seattle Mariners.

The six-player trade also sends pitcher Vidal Nuno to the Mariners. Arizona will receive catcher Welington Castillo, right-hander Dominic Leone, middle infielder Jack ReinHeimer and outfielder Gabby Guerrero from Seattle in the deal. The latter two are intriguing prospects currently playing in Double-A Jackson.

Trumbo arrived in Phoenix in 2014 from the Angels as a part of a three-team trade. The 29-year-old has played five years in the majors and was an All-Star in 2012.

Here’s a look at his brief time with the D-backs, by the numbers:

88

Trumbo played just 88 games last season after suffering a stress fracture in his left foot.

He had 77 hits in 328 at-bats with 15 doubles, a triple, 14 home runs and 61 RBI.

46

In 46 games this season, Trumbo has hit .259 with nine home runs, 23 RBI, 10 doubles and three triples.

.243

Trumbo managed a .243 average during his cumulative 134 games with the D-backs, with 23 home runs and 84 RBI.

.506

Trumbo has a .506 slugging percentage this season.

The Mariners currently have a collective slugging percentage of just .395.

5

Trumbo is currently making $6.9 million and is arbitration-eligible in 2016.
