ESPN.com: Future uncertain for Arizona’s offensive line

Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez has relied upon an experienced offensive line for much of his tenure in Tucson.

However, ESPN.com writer Kyle Bonagura said “we’ll see” about Arizona’s offensive line entering 2015.

It’ll be a little strange to see the Wildcats without Mickey Baucus and Fabbians Ebbele book-ending the offensive line, as they did for the last four seasons, but the roster has been constructed well enough over the past few years for Rich Rodriguez to be optimistic about who’ll step in. Cal transfer Freddie Tagaloa should be a rather seamless transition for Baucus at left tackle — he’s a good player who just wasn’t in the right situation once Jeff Tedford was out in Berkeley. Line Maiava, an experienced fifth-year senior, will start opposite him. LG Cayman Bundage and RG Jacob Alsadek return in starting roles, while center is unsettled headed into camp.

Arizona averaged 34.5 points and 463.6 yards per game on offense in 2014, helping lead the Wildcats to their first Pac-12 South title.

Then-freshman running back Nick Wilson enjoyed rushed for 1,375 yards and 16 touchdowns last year behind the Wildcats offensive line.

Then-freshman quarterback Anu Solomon also enjoyed success, throwing for 3,793 yards and 28 touchdowns with nine interceptions.

Pac-12 South schools listed as being in “great shape” along the offensive line are UCLA and USC, followed by ASU and Utah being in “good shape,” with a “we’ll see” tag added=to Colorado.
