Ever been to a Moroccan-themed birthday party? Yeah, we didn’t think so.
Several in Miami have, as Heat forward Chris Bosh threw one for his own 29th birthday Wednesday night.
According to USA Today, Bosh arrived at the bash (which featured belly dancers, fire eaters and yes, a camel) via yacht and helicopter.
But while Bosh, his wife and guests celebrated their Wednesday in Casablanca, thieves were cleaning out their residence, stealing over $450,000 worth of rings, purses and watches.
Do you get the feeling that Bosh might end up as the subject of an ESPN “30 for 30” documentary called Broke 2?
Anyway, don’t worry, Bosh’s most valued ring — his 2012 NBA Championship ring — wasn’t taken. The thieves were obviously Boston fans.
We don’t want to sound like know-it-alls, but maybe Bosh would be better off saving a few bucks on his next watch purchase and beef up his home security system instead.
