Gambo: Williams picked due to ‘lack of production’

Once the surprise of the Ryan Williams pick dissipated the conversation turned towards how he fits with the team.
While Sports 620 KTAR’s Gambo and Ash said Williams could be good for the Cardinals, they agreed that his arrival may not be good for the other running backs on the roster.
“I think it says a lot about the running back situation here in Arizona right now with Beanie Wells and Tim Hightower,” Gambo said. “These are two young running backs…but these guys have had fumble issues — you’ve had injury issues with Beanie.
“Bottom line is this: lack of production.”
