The Pulse: Most D-Backs fans take a wait and see approach with new manager Chip Hale

Oct 15, 2014, 4:16 AM | Updated: 4:17 am

Every day, ArizonaSports.com asks readers a question. It’s the Sanderson Ford Poll Question of the Day, and it can be found midway down the right side of our home page.

On Monday, we asked your thoughts on the hiring of Chip Hale as the new Arizona Diamondbacks manager.

A total of 773 votes were submitted, and 62 percent of D-backs fans will wait and see before deciding whether the hiring was good or bad.

A little more than a third of voters did not need to wait, believing that the hire was a great one from the start.

Four percent thought Hale’s hiring was the wrong move.

Hale was named new D-backs manager on Monday morning after spending the last three seasons as the bench coach for the Oakland Athletics. Prior to that, he spent six seasons with the D-backs organization as a minor league manager.
