The old man can still play.

Larry Fitzgerald, who many considered past his prime because of decreased production and a long touchdown drought, broke out in a big way last Sunday in Chicago.

The 32-year-old caught eight passes for 112 yards and three touchdowns in the Arizona Cardinals’ 48-23 win over the Bears at Soldier Field. For his efforts, Fitzgerald has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

This is the fourth time Fitzgerald has won the award in his career, and the first since Week 8 of 2014. He became just the 10th player in league history with over 12,000 receiving yards and 90 or more touchdowns. Fitzgerald is the only active player on that list.

Rookie David Johnson also won some hardware in Week 2. Johnson was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after returning the opening kickoff 108 yards for a touchdown. The jaunt tied for the second-longest kickoff return in NFL history.

This marks the first time in franchise history that two Cardinals have won awards in the same week of play.
