A week after being removed from the Arizona Cardinals’ game in a ambulance, offensive lineman Mike Iupati suffered a stinger against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The left guard, who was listed as questionable to return, missed most of the first quarter but returned for the team’s possession that began in the second quarter.

Iupati suffered a neck injury last Sunday in the Cardinals’ 39-32 victory against the Seattle Seahawks and left the game on a stretcher. He was released from the hospital after being cleared and returned to practice on Thursday.

But the veteran who signed with Arizona as a free agent this summer didn’t play many snaps against the Bengals. He was injured while pulling to the right side of the line on a run play and getting in the head.

It was a similar play to a week prior, when Iupati was hit in the head by Seattle safety Kam Chancellor. Iupati, who was again replaced by Earl Watford, remained on the Cardinals bench against Cincinnati until the end of the first quarter as his team trailed 7-0.
