Arizona Cardinals’ 2016 preseason schedule announced

The Arizona Cardinals’ 2016 preseason schedule was announced on Thursday.
The Cardinals will open their exhibition slate at home against the Oakland Raiders before traveling to San Diego to face the Chargers and Houston for a tilt with the Texans. They will wrap up their preseason back at home against the Denver Broncos.
Some notes from the schedule:
-This will be the third straight preseason the Cardinals have opened at home.
-Arizona’s tilt with Houston will be televised nationally on FOX’s NFL Sunday.
-This will be the Cardinals’ 23rd preseason game against the Chargers and is the fourth straight season they will face them in the preseason.
-The game against Houston will be Arizona’s first preseason matchup at NRG Stadium in Houston.
-Including 2016, the Cardinals will have faced the Broncos in the preseason finale 11 times in the last 13 seasons.
Specific dates and times for three of the four games have not yet been announced.
