College football’s preseason Amway Coaches Poll was released Thursday, and the Arizona State Sun Devils are ranked 18th.

ASU returns six offensive starters from last year’s squad, which won the Pac-12 South championship for the first time and finished the season 10-4 under head coach Todd Graham.

Defending national champion Florida State, led by Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jameis Winston, tops the poll, followed by Alabama, Oklahoma, Oregon and Auburn.

Other Pac-12 teams in the poll include UCLA (7th), Stanford (11th), USC (15th) and Washington (25th).

Oregon State (4) and Arizona (1) also received votes.

Arizona State opens their regular season Thursday, Aug. 28 with a home game against the Weber State Wildcats.
