Cross another QB off Cardinals list

Mar 28, 2011, 4:35 PM | Updated: 4:50 pm

Since the Arizona Cardinals’ season came to an end in early January many quarterbacks’ names have been thrown around as possibilities to start under center next season.

A few seem to be realistic options, others quite unlikely.

Does anyone really know or have an answer?

Not really.

Maybe Ken Whisenhunt and I’m not even so sure he has the answer. He just has a better idea than the rest of us.

One name that occasionally pops up — more in the past than recently but still a name — is Donovan McNabb.

McNabb was traded last offseason inside his own division and then benched by his new team, the Washington Redskins, by the end of the season.

As he now seems unwanted by two teams in the NFC East would be it be possible for him to head west?

Sports 620 KTAR’s Jon Bloom was able to catch up with McNabb after the Suns-Mavericks game on Sunday and the question made itself into the conversation.

McNabb told Bloom coming to the desert isn’t an option.

There you have it, straight from McNabb himself.
