5-star linebacker Davon Durant reaffirms commitment to Arizona State

Less than 24 hours after star wide receiver Jaelen Strong announced he would declare for the 2015 NFL Draft, the Arizona State Sun Devils received some very good news.
Five-star junior college inside linebacker Davon Durant confirmed his commitment to ASU Tuesday, picking the Sun Devils over Oregon, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Kentucky.
Durant is the nation’s top-rated JUCO prospect at his position.

Durant, who played for Butler County Community College in Kansas, had previously committed to ASU but left open the possibility of making a switch. He originally committed to South Carolina before switching to ASU.
