The No. 11 Arizona State Sun Devils recently opened up more space at Wells Fargo Arena, and judging by the turnout Thursday for its game against Oregon, they will need that extra space for the rest of this season.

Among the packed crowd included former Arizona State guard and NBA All-Star James Harden.

Harden was shown on the big screen and received a raucous ovation from the crowd while he threw up his pitchforks, including a standing ovation from many.

Also sitting courtside was Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker and general manager Ryan McDonough were also in attendance.

The arena had a notable presence in both the lower and upper bowls, one that hasn’t been as consistent for the Sun Devils the past few seasons.

The student section was filled up nearly to the top, with a strong presence in many of the upper bowl sections throughout as well.

In total, 13,693 fans made their way into the arena, the largest crowd since 2010.

If you’re looking to catch the next game, the Sun Devils take on Oregon State Saturday at 4 p.m. You can also hear the game on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
